We had a busy day of activities along with a tour of the beautiful campus. 

After an initial introduction to the university, students split into groups and headed to sessions exploring the study of core subjects at university level. It was eye opening for everyone to find out all the opportunities studying English, maths and science has for future careers. 

Each group was taken on a full tour of the campus and shown the ins and outs of student life, and many students showed their excitement at the various societies and courses available.  "You can study gaming at university!" was heard a lot. 

It was so valuable for students to have an experience of university education and we hope it inspires many of them to pursue their options further.
