Success at Leicestershire Live Education Awards
Saarah Ibrahim scoops NQT of the Year while James Clow also shortlisted for award.
We're celebrating today after one of teachers, Saarah Ibrahim was crowned NQT of the Year at the Leicestershire Live Education Awards 2020.
Another one of our team, James Clow, was also shortlisted for the award, making it a successful evening for Fullhurst Community College.
Acting Principal, Christina Bailey says:
"Firstly, I would like to say a huge congratulations to Saraah, we’re so proud to have seen her development from beginning her journey with us as a Teach First participant, to receiving this award. We value the contribution she makes to the school community.
I would also like to congratulate James on being nominated for this award, to be on the shortlist is a huge achievement in itself and he should be proud of everything he has achieved, I know we are.
To have two recently qualified teachers up for an award demonstrates how our staff are committed to going above and beyond in the classroom for our students and also our commitment at Fullhurst to ensuring we support our staff to maximise their potential."
