Year 10 Army assault day
Some of our year 10 students were lucky enough to spend the day experiencing first hand what Army training can entail. Corporal Hennesey and his 6 colleagues helped students participate in various team-building exercises that required them to focus, work together and communicate effectively.
Corporal Hennesey and his 6 colleagues helped students participate in various team-building exercises that required them to focus, work together and communicate effectively. The preliminary training culminated in an intensive assault course and if that wasn't enough, a forfeit of 20 press-ups was handed out to anyone not showing the appropriate respect to their superiors or team members. A ll students were pushed to their limits and came away exhausted, but exhilarated.
