Double Delight at Education Awards
Two of our teaching staff are hoping to scoop awards at the Leicestershire Live Education Awards
Tonight we’ll be rooting for two of our teaching staff who are up for awards at a local education awards event, to be shared online.
Saarah Ibrahim and James Clow have been nominated for the NQT and RQT of the Year respectively.
In its sixth year, LeicestershireLive Education Awards 2020 will celebrate and honour the brilliant work and achievements of our best schools and further education colleges.
The virtual awards of which we are a sponsor, will recognise the outstanding students, teachers and support staff from our region who have made a real difference or gone that extra mile to succeed. Categories will include Music Excellence, Science and Maths, Beating the Odds and Head Teacher of the Year to name a few.
Saarah Ibrahim who has been nominated for the NQT of the year award says:
‘I have been nominated for the NQT of the year award and this feels like a massive achievement. I feel inspired and motivated to be a part of young people’s lives. I have always wanted to be a teacher since an early age and I am passionate about helping students at Fullhurst Community College. I have a fantastic department around me and we all work extremely hard to transform lives’.
Our Chair of Governors, Rick Moore will also be presenting our sponsored award on the evening.
